JEDDAH — Jeddah Cricket Association held its 4th Annual General Body Meeting here recently. The meeting started with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Hafiz Ismail of Al-Khulais. Azizullah Shariff started the proceedings by welcoming JCA office-bearers and representatives of the member clubs. President Mohammed Iqbal appreciated the executive committee members and member clubs for a successful and trouble-free 2012-13 season. He also thanked all the sponsors for the continued support and the press for the coverage. Vice President Aijaz Khan called for voluntary members to come forward and work with the committee. He specially thanked sponsors Ace Travel, Jotun and Kanoo. The audited financial statement for the year was presented at the meeting. Iqbal sought suggestions from the member clubs to improve the standard of cricket in JCA.
