Ayman Al-Saidalani Okaz/Saudi GazetteMADINAH - Authorities in Madinah are looking for a man suspected of killing a resident here. The victim, who was in his 50s, died after he was repeatedly struck on the head with a sharp object. His body was then thrown off of a mountain. An autopsy revealed that the victim was an Arab male and officials suspect that he was a shepherd but his identity has not been confirmed. Col. Fahd Al-Ghanam, Madinah Police spokesman, said the Al-Ayoun police station here received a report from officers who found the victim lying on the Eastern Khalil road. A team of investigators comprising police detectives, forensics experts, a medical examiner and an officer from the Bureau of Investigation and General Prosecution was dispatched to the scene of the crime. The victim's body is being kept in the morgue at King Fahad Hospital while investigators attempt to identify the perpetrator and the victim.
