Truck kills young man on Haramain Road

MAKKAH — A 20-year-old man died after he was hit by a truck on the Haramain Road. Makkah Traffic Department spokesman Lt. Col. Fawzi Al-Ansari said the truck driver was arrested. Also, an Egyptian man died after he was run over by a speeding vehicle. He was trying to cross a main road near a busy roundabout in Buraidah in Qassim province, according to Buraidah Traffic Department spokesman Col. Khalid Al-Dhabeeb. Police are still investigating to find out how the accident occurred.
