TAIF — Police in Taif are searching for a man who crashed a car into a gold and jewelry shop in an attempt to rob it. The shop owner said the damage caused to the shop would take two months to repair, and will cost him about SR400,000. Taif police spokesman Lt. Col. Turki Al-Shehri said the offender was not successful in his robbery attempt and fled in the car. The car, which was later found abandoned, was reported to be stolen.
