The Shoura Council Monday virtually held its 31st ordinary session of the second year of the eighth session, under the presidency of Speaker of the Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh. The council approved the tourism bylaw that was referred to the council for further consideration according to Article 17 of its internal bylaw, with the participation of Minister of State for Shoura Council Affairs Dr. Issam Bin Saad Bin Said. The council also approved the draft bylaw on the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank. The council also voted in favor of approving amendments to Item 23 of the penal code of forgery crimes. At the beginning of the session, the council approved a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the radio and television field between the Saudi Broadcasting Authority in Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Media in Oman. The council also approved a draft agreement on employing workforce between the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. The council also voted in favor of approving a memorandum of understanding between the government of Saudi Arabia and the government of Iraq on electric connection. The council approved a memorandum of understanding between the government of Saudi Arabia and the government of Oman on food and water security. The council approved a draft cooperation agreement between the government of Saudi Arabia and the government of Iraq in the field of marine transport. — SPA
