RIYADH — RCA Future Initiative cricket tournament witness thrilling matches as KFSH won by 3 runs and AKCC triumphed on final ball of the match. This tournament is being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association and is sponsored by Future Initiative Contracting Company.
Huraymala League: KFSH Greens won a heart stopper against Raavi by 3 runs. KFSH accumulated 160 in their inning. Ubaid 24 and Afazal 21 resisted. Faraz claimed 3 while Shafiq and Shahbaz bagged 2 wickets each. Raavi managed 157 runs in reply. Tanvir belted 41 and Javed notched 30. Safeer clinched 3 wickets. Ali and Nayeem picked up 2 wickets each.
AR Sports Blue registered victory over Lahore Sultans by 8 wickets. Sultans added 192 for 8. Imran whacked 61 and Nusrat notched 38. Bilal and Amir took 3 wickets each while Nadeem got 2 wickets. Hamza 59, Asim 57 and Ahsan 50 eased AR Sports past the target.
Riyadh Warriors was knocked down by Falcons. Warriors was bowled out for 154. Javed 46 and Aziz 35 batted well. Sajjad, Farhan and Majeed shared 2 wickets each. Falcons got to the target in 18.1 overs. Farhan hit 50, Sohail scored 40 while Farruhk got caught for 31. Ayaz picked up 2 wickets.
Kashmir Strikers lost to Pak Riderz by 9 wickets. Strikers added 176 for 6. Salil scored 48 and Asif did 34. Aziz and Bilal bagged 2 wickets each. Outstanding display of power hitting from Ali helped Riderz to the target in 11.2 overs. Ali whacked 140 of just 46 balls sending the balls across the rope 27 times.
Hayer League: AKCC triumphs over Kashmiri Falcons by 4 wickets. Kashmiri scored 176/3. Arsalan top scored with 66, Nabeel nicked 32. AKCC won the match on final ball. Sheraz played a stylish knock of 100 and Shahab added 24. Nabeel picked up 3 and Amir claimed 2 wickets.
Ar Riyadh Zalmi knocked down Royce White Star Blues. Zalmi piled up 173/6. Shabir hit 85 and Yasir did 29. Zaheer, Aqib and Nouman took 2 wickets each. Royce fumbled to 115 runs in reply. Umar and Zaheer showed some fight with 21 runs each. Shabir bagged 3 wickets. Qasim and Nasroddin got 2 wickets each.
Indian Strikers thrashed Battagram Zalmi by 9 wickets. Zalmi posted 142 in their inning. Azmat topscored with 34 and Taimur did 23. Shameer grabbed 4 wickets haul while Prasanth and Fenil picked up 2 wickets each. Kannan's stunning ton took Strikers to victory in 10.5 overs. Kannan led the inning with his 102 and was support be Junais' 21.
Deccan Chargers won against Kashmir XI by 25 runs. On the shoulders of fifties from Rahil 74 and Mubashir 50, Deccan collated 188 losing 4 wickets. Samiullah and Gulzar took 2 wickets each. Kashmir fumbled to 163 runs in reply. Nasir scored a standout 44 and Mudasir did 36. Rahil and Danial took 2 wickets each.
Saudi Knights humbled PTI Tigers by 22 runs. Knights added 212 for 9 wickets. Hadi Aqeel scored a brilliant 101 and was assisted by Farhan who did 22. Salman was the pick of the bowlers who claimed 5 wickets haul. Tigers managed only 190 runs in reply. Adnan hammered 82 and Saeed stroked 49. Zahid picked up 3 wickets while Junaid and Wahid claimed 2 wickets each.
