AR Sports Blues and Falcons qualify for final of RCA Tourney

RIYADH — AR Sports Blues and Falcons qualify for the final of Huraymala League of Western Union T20. Dana Trading and Green Bangla will face each other for title of Hayer League. Western Union T20 is being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and is sponsored by Western Union Money Transfer.
Huraymala League: AR Sports Blue defeated Riyadh Zalmi while Falcon humbled Nizamabad United to qualify for the final of Huraymala League. In first semifinal, Riyadh Zalmi was bowled out for 140. Kashif and Imran resisted with 28 and 25 runs respectively. Hamid bowled exceptionally well and picked up 5 wickets haul while Nadeem and Bilal shared 2 wickets each. AR got to the target in 13.1 overs. Hamza hit 54 and Asim smashed 35.
In the other semifinal, Nizamabad collected 166 for 4. Khaja hammered 60 and Sami did 28. Sajjad grabbed 2 wickets. Brilliant fifties from Farruhk 70 and Farhan 54 helped Falcons to achieve the target in 17.3 overs.
Earlier AR Sports thumped Lahore Sultans in quarterfinal. AR Sports accumulated 219 thanks to Hamza 74 and Asim 33. Ashir claimed 3 wickets while Majid and Yasir bagged 2 wickets each. Sultans scored 168 in reply. Hameed belted 31 and Imran hit 28. Abu Baker clinched 3 while Hamid and Asim grabbed 2 wickets each.
Falcons triumphed over KFSH Green by 8 wickets. KFSH scored 174/5. Sohail smacked 51 and Shiraz nicked 30. Faisal took 2 wickets. Falcons chased down the target in 18 overs. Farhan and Farrukh were the stars with bat who scored 78 and 72 runs respectively.
Nizamabad defeated Pak Riderz by 56 runs. Nizamabad piled up 196 for 7 wickets. Rasool hit 41 and Mubeen scored 39. Farhan grabbed 2 wickets. Riderz managed 140 runs in reply. Parvez 37 and Malik 22 showed some resistance. Mujahid bagged 4 wickets while Shiraj and Mubeen got 2 wickets each.
Riyadh Zalmi won against Deer Stars by 4 wickets. Deer posted 242 for 4. Maaz played a stunning knock of 121 and Ashraf nicked 66. Touseef grabbed 3 wickets. Zalmi scored the required 243 in 19.4 overs. Rizwan 69, Yousufzai 44 and Shoaib 34 played important innings. Nasir clinched 2 wickets.
Hayer League: Dana Trading registered a win over Bengal Tigers by 5 wickets. Bengal collated a sub-par total of 136. Mithun and Tuhin batted well for 41 and 38 runs respectively. Waqar and Sainal took 2 wickets each. Dana Trading won the match in 18.5 overs. Sainal scored match-winning 42 and Ishtiaq assisted with 30.
Green Bangla humbled Abaseen. Bangla added 241/3. Anowar smashed 65, Badal hit 57 while Golam Mustafa made 47. Abaseen fought hard but managed only 220 runs. Shahid hammered 80 and Arshed stroked 59. Anowar picked up 3 wickets.
Abaseen beat Challengers by 84 runs. Fifties from Arshad, Salman and Ali took Abaseen to 227/5. Arshad banged 70 and Salman bashed 52 while Ali Huusain did 51. Ashik grabbed 2 wickets. Challengers was bowled out 143 runs in reply. Shoaib slogged 44 and Ashik mustered 36. Shahid took 4 wickets while Asif and Naimat picked up 2 wickets each.
Bengal Tigers got better of AKCC. AKCC amassed 181 for 6 wickets. Sheeraz whacked 85 and Nadeem scored 56. Rahmatullah and Rasel bagged 2 wickets each. Tigers got the target losing 8 wickets. Shahid top scored with 58, Musa pushed 43 and Tushar did 35. Qadar clinched 3 wickets while Faisal and Nadeem grabbed 2 wickets each.
Dana Trading thrashed Indian Strikers by 7 runs. Hazim 52 and Riyas 44 took Dana Trading to 156/6. Prashanth and Sajith took 2 wickets each. Indian fumbled to just 149 in reply. Prashanth hit 40 and Ranith did 37. Moin was the pick of the bowlers who claimed 4 wickets.
Green Bangla trounced King Lions XI by 136 runs. Bangla added 226 for 5. Badal hit 54, Mustafa scored 48 and Shumon did 41. Jafur grabbed 2 wickets. In reply some exceptional bowling spells restricted Lions XI to just 90. Minhaz top scored with 21. Zakir bagged 3 wickets while Shumon and Anower got 2 wickets each.
