LuLu, the largest hypermarket chain in the region, announced its charity initiatives for the holy month of Ramadan. As part of its CSR, the highlight of this year's initiatives is the Happy Trolley campaign. It is a trolley placed in different LuLu locations, where customers can donate any product from their shopping basket bought from LuLu to the needy people. The drive is in association with Ikhaa Charity, a volunteer humanitarian organization headed by Ahmed Alrajhi, Minister of Labor and Social Development. The product donations will be distributed daily across KSA. LuLu Hypermarket Director Shehim Mohammed said: "This Ramadan, we thought of including the community to this initiative. This unique campaign is committed to the humanitarian duty of extending help to the needy people and be socially responsible by maximizing our resources for a great cause. We thank our partners in making these charity projects possible." LuLu joined hands with the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) employees in offering special discounts on featured products in stores. There will be specially branded cash counters for SANG staff, wherein they can avail the offers. In partnership with the Ministry of Social Development, a total of 170 stalls selling local products by Saudi Arabian entrepreneurs will be given as a complimentary space in all LuLu stores across KSA. This campaign showcases the flavors and artworks that are locally made, such as food products, handicraft, perfumes, Arabic coffees, and much more. Besides being well-known for its wide product range and outstanding customer service, LuLu has always been a key promoter of social initiatives, sustainability, and environment protection across the globe. Over the years, the region's top retailer has initiated many projects towards these advocacies and will continue to do so in the future. — SG div class=" simple-translate-button" style="background-image:url("moz-extension://1eb291e5-1d94-5949-827b-2f1c78b90df1/icons/512.png"); height:22px; left:10px; top:10px; width:22px"
