JEDDAH — Al Wurood international school celebrated the 64th Republic Day of India with much fanfare in the special assembly held in the Boys' Section on 26th January 2013. The school's impressive vibrancy was on majestic display during the event. The Principal, Mr. K. Rahamathullah, exhorted the students to imbibe the spirit of patriotic commitment and dedication from the heroes of the Independence movement ‘who spared nothing to win the freedom that we enjoy today.' He stressed upon the need to be oriented towards good citizenship which would enable them ‘to produce noble actions and vision for the common good of the motherland.' The fancy dress show, the melodious songs, the mesmerizing magic show, the enlightening skita, mimicry and stupendous dances performances reflected the patriotic zest and fervor of the celebration.
