JEDDAH — To make a significant contribution to the lives of students by shaping and sharpening their young minds, Al Wurood International School organized an outstanding Al Wurood Expo – 2012 on Nov. 22 in its school premises. The chief guest, M.R.Qureshi, Consul General (Education) and Head of Chancery, highlighted his content encompassing the Expo – 2012 to a large number of multinational students who are the future of the nations they represent and will potentially be served by the very ideas they created for the competition.
While addressing the parents and students of the school in the inaugural ceremony, special guest Dr. Isamil Marutheri said that the exhibits were not only imaginative but also revealed an amazing in-depth understanding of the complexities that typically must be addressed in the days to come. He exhorted the students and teachers to transform the school into a cradle of future scientists. V.P. Mohammed Ali, the director of Peevees Group of schools, made it obvious in his welcome address that the inventive genius manifested in the exhibition would not only delight the beholder but also instruct the learner and the listener. Ashraff .A.M , the general manager of Al Wurood International School, stressed upon the need to posses the spirit to be a part and parcel of every creative and inventive enquiry. The brainchild of the event was school principal K. Rahamathullah, who asked the students to become friends with the innumerable sources of knowledge as they are the lifelong source of pleasure, instruction and inspiration. The winners of the exhibition were honoured and awarded by the chief guest and the special guests. The customary vote of thanks by assistant head boy Karan Dilsher brought the exuberant expo to an end. — SG
