JEDDAH — Police in Jeddah have captured a thief for burgling a number of private resorts east of the city. A Saudi told the police that his resort was burgled and all electrical equipment stolen. An investigation team discovered that the burglar was targeting resorts in a straight line moving south. Undercover teams started setting up surveillance points south of the last resort that was burgled. They monitored a suspect wandering around resorts and looking over the walls for occupants. As officers approached him he ran away. He was chased and captured hiding in a nearby hill. The man's fingerprints matched those found at a resort that was last burgled. Faced with evidence, the man confessed to his crime.
