Pak Shaheen to face Amir Holidays in Super League BSF T20 final

RIYADH — Pak Shaheen, Amir Holidays, CKK, Hyderabadi Warriors, Riyadh Panthers and Pak Force have qualified for the finals of the Banque Saudi Al-Fransi T20 Cricket Tournament being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here.
The league finals will be played Friday.
Pak Shaheen and Amir Holidays beat their respective rivals to set up Super League final. Pak Shaheen beat Lahore Lions by 5 wickets, thanks to a great all-round performance by Abdul Salam. Batting first, Lahore Lions scored 180 in 20 overs. Abdul Salam bowled with great control and guile and claimed 4 wickets, while Ateeq bagged 3. Pak Shaheen achieved the target in 16 overs. Abdul Wahid scored a brisk 60 off 26 balls, while Abdul Salam scored 57 off 27 balls and Abdul Qadir 30.
Amir Holidays defeated Lahore Badshah by a narrow margin of 3 runs. Lahore Badshah won the toss and put Amir Holidays into bat. Amir Holidays scored 213 in 20 overs. Irfan Mushtaq was in great touch and scored 124. He was ably supported by Imran (45) and Sami Arshad (23). In reply, Lahore Badshah could manage only 210. Yassir Maqbool hit 104, but could not save his team from defeat. Asif added 31. Abdulrahman took 2 wickets, while Nadeem, Kamran and Arsalan got 1 each.
CKK and Hyderabadi Warriors advanced to set up Premier League I final. CKK beat Riyadh Warriors by 6 wickets. Batting first, Riyadh Warriors were all out for 140. Hassan was the top scorer with 41, while Ayaz made 31 and Asif 22. Nouman, Imran and Nabeel claimed 2 wickets each. CKK achieved the target in 16 overs. Najeeb scored 60, Imran 27 and Zeeshan 24. Majid, Toufeeq, Ayaz and Sameer took 1 wicket each.
Hyderabadi Warriors beat Stallions in the league's second semifinal.
In Premier League II final will be played between Riyadh Panthers and Pak Force.
Riyadh Panthers beat Imran XI by 3 wickets. Imran XI, batting first, scored 148. Zulfiqar, Waqar and Hamid claimed 3 wickets each. Riyadh Panthers achieved the target in 16.1 overs. Waqar, Tauseef and Sajid scored 25 each.
In the second semifinal, Pak Force beat Green Bangla by 4 wickets. After winning the toss, Green Bangla decided to bat and scored 157-9. Jakir was the main scorer with 77. Pak Force lost six wickets in pursuit of the target. Alamin claimed 3 wickets, Aminul 2 and Jakir 1.
In the Saudi Orix Tournament, Al-Kharj Zone, Shuraim beat Ayoun Al-Badr by 1 wicket. Batting first, Ayoun Al-Badr was all out for 206 in 33.5 overs.
Imran and Afzal held the innings together by scoring 63 and 48 respectively. Azizullah also spent some time at the wicket and scored 25 runs. Faisal took 3 wickets, while Arif and Waseem bagged 2 each. Shuraim achieved the target in 37.2 overs. Zeeshan scored 72, Arif 48 and Mubashir 21. Azizullah and Ali Shahid took 3 wickets each.
In the Huraymala Zone, Thales beat KFSH Knight Riders by 77 runs. Batting first, Thales scored 200 in 20 overs. Fahad made 72, Zaiduddin 47 and Khursheed 38. Talal and Yasir got 2 wickets each. Chasing the target, KFSH Knight Riders was all out for 123. Imran and Bilal were the notable scorers with 33 and 29 runs respectively. Saad took 5 wickets, while Atif, Amjad and Ahtisham got 1 each.
KFSH Green beat RAC in another Huraymala Zone match.
In the Riyadh Zone, TBCC beat Friends XI by 9 runs. Batting first, TBCC scored 146 in 16 overs. Fawaz and Aneesh made 35 each, while Riyaz hit 24.
Friends XI could manage only 137 in reply. Cherian bagged 2 wickets and Riyaz 1.
Sulaiman XI beat Serendib by 2 wickets. Serendib put on 173 in 19 overs.
Ejaz, Naveed and Nouman claimed 1 wicket each. Sulaiman XI reached the target in 16.5 overs, thanks to a brilliant innings by 14-year-old Sulaiman Ejaz Sulaiman, who scored 50 off 21 balls. Naveed added 40.
In other matches, Riyadh Fighters beat AB Contracting by 8 runs; and Lahore Badshah Green beat TCS Riyadh by 16 runs.
