KFSH Blues, Pak Shaheen score wins in RCA tournament

RIYADH — KFSH Blues, Pak Shaheen and Amir Holidays finished on top in Super League matches being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association here.
Banque Saudi Al-Fransi is sponsoring the first RCA tournament of the 2012-2013 season. The tournament is named BSF T20 Cup.
KFSH Blues beat BSF by 4 wickets in a Super League clash. Opting to bat first, BSF could score only 157-9 in 20 overs, bowled mainly by spinners.
Ayaz took 3 wickets, Usman and Danish claimed 2 each and Saqib Abbasi 1.
Nadeem Babar was the highest scorer for BSF with 42. KFSH Blues, in reply, raced away to victory in 16.5 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Opener Waseem Riaz scored 42 off 17 balls, while Khurram Baig added 35.
In another match Pak Shaheen beat Ayoun Al-Badr by 51 runs. Batting first Pak Shaheen scored 205 in 20 overs. Abdul Salam scored 50, Sajid 41 and Abdul Wahab 41. Ayoun Al-Badr could score only 154 in reply. Abdul Wahab, Abdul Salam, Abdul Aziz and Asif took 2 wickets each.
Another match saw Amir Holidays beat Shuraim by 29 runs. Amir Holidays scored 191-7 in 20 overs. Ihtisham scored 69 and Nadeem added 68. Farooq bowled well for Shuraim and took 4 wickets. In reply, Shuraim scored only 162. Zeeshah hit 52, while Waqas scored 42. Kamran Hadi and Ayaz took 2 wickets each for Amir Holidays.
Lahore Badshah beat Fuchs by 25 runs. Batting first Lahore Badshah scored 196 in 20 overs. Adnan scored 57 and Shahbaz 50. Awais took 3 wickets and Rizwan 2. Fuchs could score only 171. Awais scored 102, but failed to save the team from defeat.
In Premier League I action, the match between Hyderabadi Warriors and Thales ended in a tie. Batting first Hyderabadi Warriors scored 205 in 20 overs. Mubashir hit 46, Abdul Rehman 34, Waseem 33 and Feroz 30. Asif took 3 wickets, while Amjad and Aziz grabbed 2 each. In reply, Thales also scored 205. Fahad scored 94 and Asim 61. Shahnawaz took 4 wickets.
Riyadh Warriors beat RAC by 14 runs. Electing to bat first, Riyadh Warriors scored 219-3 in 20 overs. Asif remained not out on 101 off 53 balls.
Ahmedullah added 52. Afzal, Azhar and Zahid took 1 wicket each. Chasing a stiff target, RAC fell short by 14 runs. Ahmedullah took 4 wickets, while Ayaz and Majid took 2 each. Mudassir was the highest scorer for RAC with 44. Saeed made 42 and Zahid 35.
KFSH Greens started its campaign in style and beat Attieh Steels by 8 wickets. Attieh Steel, batting first, was bowled out for 133 runs in 16.2 overs. Nasir hit 27 runs. Waheed took 3-27, while Naeem and Azhar got two wickets each. KFSH Greens reached the target in 12.3 overs for the loss of two wickets. Rafaqat remained unbeaten on 66 and Waheed scored 35.
CKK beat Stallions by 52 runs. Batting first, CKK scored 192. Amir Zulfiqar took 3 wickets, while Shakoor and Asif bagged 2 each. Stallions were bundled out for 140. Asif scored 35 runs and Imran Younous added 25.
In Premier League II, Green Bangla beat Seham by 3 runs. Green Bangla scored 181 in 20 overs. Mazhar Tuhin scored 37 runs, Kakon hit 27, Amir 25, Aminul 24 and Mithun 23. Amjad took 2 wickets. Seham could manage only 178 runs in 20 overs.
TBCC beat Lahore Badshah Green by 8 wickets. Batting first Lahore Badshah Green scored 154. TBCC achieved the target in 19 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Faisal scored 61, while Shareef and Fazel added 25 each.
Pak Force beat Kashmir Press by 22 runs. Pak Force scored 245 in 18 overs. Rizwan hit 112 runs off 53 balls. In reply, Kashmir Press made 223 runs in 17.2 overs. Waseem Ahmed scored 104.
Another match saw Riyadh Panthers beat Serendib by 10 wickets. Serendib, batting first, scored 126. Raza and Tauseef took 3 wickets each. Riyadh Panthers achieved the target in 16 overs without losing a wicket. Raza remained unbeaten on 59 and Tahir on 46.
