RIYADH — The Inter-School Cricket Tournament, sponsored by Saudi Gazette and organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL), will begin on Dec. 13, 2012 it has been announced at a meeting here. RCL Vice President Hanif Baber, who stressed the need for proper care of the students during the event, said 13 teams – 9 in Under-16 and 4 in Under-19 matches - have confirmed their participation in the event. The Senior Advisor of RCL, Razaur Rahman, explained the format to the school representatives, who openly shared the opinions on the tournament schedule. The schools' representatives thanked Khaled Almaeena, Editor-in-Chief of Saudi Gazette, for sponsoring and RCL for arranging such an event for schoolboys in Riyadh. The matches will be played every Thursday afternoon at the RCL Complex. Additional information on the tournament is available at www.rcl-ksa.com. Zakaria Hasan (0553212355) has been named as the Tournament Secretary, while Tariq Butt was named Umpiring Coordinator for the tournament.
