Shuraim stuns KFSH Blues in RCA tourney

RIYADH – Shuraim upset KFSH Blues by 7 wickets in the RCA T20 Warmup Tournament at RCA Complex here.
In the first match of the morning session, Riyadh Warriors beat Hyderabadi Warriors by 22 runs. Batting first, Riyadh Warriors scored 186-3. Ayaz scored 41, Abdul Rahim 40 and Ahmadullah 36. Aurangzaib and Naser took one wicket each. In reply, Hyderabadi Warriors were all out for 164 in 19 overs. Shakeel and Azhar took two wickets each.
In a Super League match at RCA2, Ayoun Al-Badr beat Fuchs by 40 runs.
Batting first, Ayoun Al-Badr amassed 205, helped by a century by Obaid Ullah (101 off 52 balls). He was ably supported by Shiraz Shafiq, who hit 57. In reply, Fuchs managed 165. Usman scored 49 and Waqar 40. Aminullah took 4 wickets and Imran Khan 3.
At RCA3, Shuraim upset KFSH Blues by 7 wickets. Put into bat, KFSH Blues started well with openers Nasir Abbasi and Fakhar Qureshi looking in good touch. Nasir Abbasi scored 48 off 20 balls, while Fakhar Qureshi made 57 off 36 balls. After the departure of the openers, Shuraim came back strongly and bowled out KFSH Blues for 183 in 19.3 overs. Only Qaiser and Usman showed some resistance by scoring 23 and 24 runs respectively. Ilyas took 4 wickets, while Zeeshan and Farooq grabbed two wickets each. In reply, Shuraim hit the target in 18.4 overs. Wiqas top-scored with 87 and Faisal contributed 49. Raja Gulraiz, Qasim and Usman claimed one wicket each.
Kashmir Press beat AB Contracting by 51 runs in Premier League 2. Batting first, Kashmir Press scored 187 through Imtiaz Ahmed 49, Mohammed Kashif 41, Zahid Ashraf 39 and Waseem 32. In reply, AB Contracting managed only 136.
In another match, Imran XI beat Seham. Kashmir XI beat Tigers by 32 runs.
Kashmir XI batted first and posted 207. Upol took 3 wickets. Chasing 208, Tigers were restricted to 174. Bilal was the highest scorer with 78.
In the afternoon session, Stallions beat Attieh Steels by a huge margin of 163 runs. Batting first, Stallions scored 252-5 in 20 overs. Asif was the highest scorer with 63. He was followed by Amir 61, Yassir 43 and Junaid 29. Chasing 253, Attieh Steels collapsed to a paltry 93. Adnan destroyed the Attieh Steels batting lineup by taking 6 wickets.
Super League results: Lahore Lions beat Lahore Badshah by 81 runs. Lahore Lions 240-4 (Omar Zafar 64, Nawaz 53, Owais 41). Lahore Badshah 159 (Owais 3 wickets, Muzaffar, Nawaz and Waseem 2 wickets each).
Pak Shaheen beat BSF by 99 runs. Pak Shaheen 260 (Abdul Wahab 119, Usman Khan 52, Ateeq Ahmed 49). BSF 161 (Abdul Salam 3 wickets, Asif and Abdul Aziz 2 wickets each).
Premier League II results: Combined XI beat Friends XI by 59 runs. Combined XI 203 (Asmat Shahzad 44). Friends XI 144 (Ahmed Qayyum 4 wickets).
Riyadh Fighters beat CKK in Premier League 1 by 2 wickets. CKK 181 (Imran 3 wickets). Riyadh Fighters 182 (Omar Khittab 46 Nusrat Ali 36).
Thales beat RAC by 34 runs. Thales 183 (Shahid 63, Atif 61, Fahad 36). RAC 149 (Atif, Amjad 2 wickets each).
