RIYADH – Pak Shaheen and Lahore Lions entered the Super League final while Attieh Steel and Riyadh Fighters made the Premier League final of the RCA T20 Summer Cup being played at the RCA Cricket Complex grounds here. In the Super League semifinal at RCA-3 ground, batting first and aided by Ibrar Ul Haq's hurricane 134 in 54 balls, Pak Shaheen scored a mammoth 269 for 6 in the allotted overs. Abdul Wahab (35), Abdul Qadar (32) and Abdul Salam (24) were the other main scorers. KFSH Blues' Raja Gulraiz took 3 wickets conceding 55 runs. Chasing this huge target, KFSH Blues were bowled out for 195. Qaiser Mahmood topscored with 83. Ayaz Mohammed (30) and Waseem Riaz (20) were the other batsman to reach double figures. Faisal Khan (3-15) was the most successful bowler for Pak Shaheen and was well supported by Abdul Wahab (2-61) and Abdul Salaam (2-14). Ibrar Ul Haq of Pak Shaheen was declared the Man of the Match for his brilliant batting. In another Super League semifinal at RCA-2 ground, Mansoor's devastating fast bowling (6 for 28) helped Lahore Lions crush Lahore Badshah by 10 wickets. Batting first, Lahore Badshah batsmen could not stand to the guiles of Mansoor and their innings lasted only 9.3 overs and eventually were bowled out for a paltry 55 runs. In reply, Lahore Lions opening pair of Awais (30 not out) and Fayyaz (20 not out) scored the required runs in just 4 overs. Mansoor of Lahore Lions was declared the Man of the Match for his brilliant spell. In the Premier League semifinal at RCA-4 ground, Attieh Steel effortlessly beat Riyadh Panthers by 9 wickets. Batting first, Riyadh Panther was bowled out for 139. Attieh Steel's in-form batsman Nasir (66 not out), Ramzan (35) and Asif Butt (20 not out) achieved the target in 10 overs, losing Ramzan's wicket. Nasir of Attieh Steel was declared the Man of the Match. In the other Premier League semifinal at RCA-1 ground, Riyadh Fighters beat Imran XI by 57 runs. Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Riyadh Fighters scored a fighting 212 through Omar Kittab (42), Hameed (40), Mubashir (37) and Taqi (30 not out). In reply, good bowling from Imran Younis (4-15) and Mubashir (3-35) helped Riyadh Fighters to bowl out Imran XI for 155. Imran Younis was declared the Man of the Match for his fine bowling.
