MADINAH – Two little girls died while their three siblings were severely injured after they set off firecrackers and caused a fire to break out at their home. The five siblings were playing inside their room with the firecrackers unattended. One five-month infant died after inhaling smoke while her little sister died later in hospital. The other three are still in intensive care suffering from severe burns after being rushed to King Fahd Hospital here. Investigations revealed that the mother had left the children in the room alone.
