RIYADH — The Board of Grievances has created vacancies for Saudi women jobseekers for the new fiscal year 2012-2103. Women who are appointed by the board will be tasked with registering the lawsuits filed by women, handing copies of judgments to women litigants and other services related to women. Meanwhile, an official source told Okaz/Saudi Gazette the Board of Grievances pays about SR65 million yearly from its annual budget in rent for the buildings that it uses as offices for its 15 administrative courts in various regions and its Riyadh headquarters. The source said this was due to the lack of suitable land on which the organization can build its own premises. The rented buildings include the board's headquarters in Riyadh and the administrative courts in Dammam, Riyadh, Makkah, Abha, Jeddah, Madinah, Sakaka, Buraidahh, Najran, Arar, Jazan and Hail. He said the number of the cases seen by the board and courts have been increasing tremendously. They jumped from 64 cases in 2010 to 99 cases in 2011. One of the major reasons for the delay in cases was litigants who do not appear in courts on the scheduled dates, he said.
