Movenpick first hotel to implement Mobile-Pay technology in Kingdom

MOVENPICK Hotels & Resorts has recently installed Mobile-Pay terminals in its nine properties in Saudi Arabia in partnership with Etihad Itisalat (Mobily). The user-friendly technology provides a wireless redemption mechanism to guests through their mobile phones.
Mobile-Pay is linked to the Neqaty loyalty program which automatically provides Mobily users with one point for every Saudi riyal spent. They can subsequently redeem the points through easy-to-use channels, without the need of an additional subscription.
Mohammed Fadi Sidani, Director of Communications for Movenpick Hotels & Resorts in the Kingdom, said: “We are happy to collaborate with Mobily on this exciting initiative. Our mutual guests are welcome to redeem points at any of our M?venpick properties and will benefit from a great choice of accommodation, dining options and services provided by our properties in the Kingdom.”
