Hala International and Mabuhay Mobily in partnership with Globe sponsor the league which is organized by the IBG advocates. Universal Bowling Center (UBC) is the venue of the game. Atienza, one of the best players in the region, showed his bowling prowess to help D'Pirates humble Great Balls of Fire to post a perfect 26 points against 11 registered by the Great Balls of Fire. Atienza rocked lanes to post a four-game series scratch of 891. Atienza rolled 215, 192, 217 and a towering 267. Sparkling along with Atienza were Bembol Velasco (890), Dennis Gabriel (883), Celis Viloria (855) and small but terrible Erwin Nacario (852). D'Pirates astounding win tightened their hold as the undisputed holder of the No. 1 slot. Jess Ambon and Ed Cruz scored an identical four-game series of 856 to lead in the Great Balls of Fire. Jojo Miraflor came next with 738 points. Danny Trinidad, Jerry Damiray, Henry Pablo and Ely Fanugao posted a separate series of 442, 397, 365 and 363, respectively. NBA squad, mentored by Nelson de Vera, rolled past Itqan Tenpin Wizards, 24-16. Multi-talented and perfect 300 holder southpaw Ronald Bautista seared lanes to topscore in NBA by tallying a series of 876. Joel Batolina and Mike Ecalnir shared bowling spotlight with Bautista by downing separate series of 864 and 836. De Vera and Bandar Al-Marshad chipped in 796 and 771 points respectively. Doy del Moral and Ric Singson sizzled to lead in Itqan Tenpin Wizards by posting separate series of 864 and 863. Ronald Cruz poured 813 while Reynald Medina and Arnold Jesena carded 804 and 735. The exciting game between Air21 and Bankrun resulted at 24-8, in favor of the Air21 captained by FBGR Chairman Jerry Austria. At the helm in Air21 was Thong Asuncion with 870 points and he was followed by Jove Marano (867), Ruel Toledo (576) and Leo Mabunga (528). Shawn Rickett and James Boyd scored 459 and 418. Austria added 365 points. Sam Alinsod was at the top in Bankrun by rolling 873 points. Rainier Torres was next with 542. Angelo Train and Dawood Sereno registered 525 and 328 in two games.
