Salyng Kits and Sto. Domingo shine

RIYADH — Salyng Kits keglers and George Sto. Domingo shared awards by bagging the Best Team and Best Bowler of the Week Awards, respectively, during the week 10 action of the Itqan Bowlers Group (IBG) Friday Bowling League, 2nd Conference.
The league is organized by IBG and sponsored by Hala International Mabuhay Mobily in partnership with Globe. The games are being played at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).
Underdog Salyng Kits team, mentored by Benny Mondoy, seared the lanes to upset the powerhouse Xperts team 24-15. The brilliant game of Joel Lambo helped lead the Salyng Kits by posting 914 series scratch in four games.
Lambo had on lines of 221, 260, 190 and 223. Likewise, fellow Atoi Ramos and Edgar Buenaventura sizzled to follow Lambo posting the best score of 913 and 806. Benny shared 756, while Larry Mondoy submitted 727 points.
Joseph Osborne and multi-talented Ernee Noto flew high to lead the Xperts team by tallying separate series of 853 and 820. Lefty Frank Ranera, Will Kirby and Anas Hamid contributed separate series of 779, 763 and 752, respectively.
Air21 banked on the hot hands of Jove Marano, Ruel Toledo, Thong Asuncion and Jojo Paciano to subdue the Itqan Tornado, 23-15. Marano was on top in Air 21 with 897 points. He was followed by Asuncion (856) and Toledo (833). Paciano sparked 815 points, while Jerry Austria and Shawn Rickett registered series of 426 and 383 in two games.
Current league Perfect 300 holder, Ric Urrutia Jr. splashed his old form to top-score in Itqan Tornado by tallying 909 points (192, 221, 247 and 233).
Zaldy Torres, Belle Sabico and Ruben Babasa delighted too by registering separate series of 785, 772 and 754, The duo of Jett Cabana and Gigi Enriquez chipped in with 368 and 353 points in two mtches.
League leader, D'Pirates, used a blistering assault to fashion out a 23-16 victory over the NBA. Andro Tismo delivered an all-around game with 855 points. Bembol Velasco shot 833 points while Edwin Atienza had 815 series in four outings. Johnny sealed 788 points. D'Pirates after the 10th week of action, still holds the top spot.
One time Perfect 300 holder, southpaw Ronald Bautista led NBA by pouring in 844 points. Joel Batolina and Fiscal Art Yukong scintillated by submitting 792 and 766 points, respectively. The triumvirate of Nelson de Vera, Bandar Al-Marshad and Joe Garrido contributed separate series of 429, 405 and 404 in two outings.
In another fashion, the Pinbusters dismantled Great Balls of Fire, 21-19. Arnold Quindara was at his game by posting 889 points. Fathi Abdulaziz followed Quindara by knocking down 863 points. Following him was the duo of Marvin Arocena (812) and Mel Ancheta (800). Fhel Ramos ended his game with 778 points.
Other results: SACO beat SABB Strikers 20-14, Magnificent-5 beat Roll and Bowl 19-12, Itqan Tenpin Wizards beat Bankrun 18-15.
