ABHA — The Border Guard in Asir arrested a weapons smuggler who tried to escape from the police. A Border Guard patrol unit spotted a suspicious car trying to make its way through the mountains. After a brief chase, the driver was stopped and arrested. The officers found 40 guns, a number of them Kalashnikovs, and ammunition in the man's possession. Police are still questioning him. — SG
