Drug and arms smuggling attempts foiled

Drugs and weapons seized by the Border Guards in Najran (near the border with Yemen). Authorities arrested five people trying to smuggle drugs and weapons into the country, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Sunday. The smugglers, whose car was intercepted by the authorities, were arrested with drugs, ammunition, bullets, a Kalashnikov assault rifle and telephone cards in their possession. (Okaz photo) __
