Ahmed Al-Jizawee, the Egyptian lawyer who currently stands accused of smuggling narcotics into Saudi Arabia, disclosed to investigators Sunday that his wife Shahenaz Fathi had relations with some journalists in Egypt who led the campaign against the Kingdom. At the forefront were Amr Adeeb and his wife Lamees Al-Hadidi with whom his family had close ties, Al-Jizawee said, adding that the two visited his home in Cairo before fabricating the story about his arrest. Meanwhile, the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution (BIP) is scheduled to bring Al-Jizawee face-to-face with an Egyptian pharmaceutical technician and a Saudi national, to whom he was supposed to deliver the drug consignment. The two men continue to maintain their innocence, stressing they have no ties with Al-Jizawee. __
