Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, Honorary Chairman of the Society for Rehabilitation and Service of Visual Impairment – Ibsar, presided over the society's general assembly meeting in Riyadh Wednesday. In an address to the congregation, he expressed his thanks and appreciation to King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for his generous contribution to the ‘Combating Visual Impairment Program'. Prince Talal went to great lengths to praise the excellent work carried out by “Ibsar” and their financial transparency. He said he is looking forward to the establishment of the “Ibsar Academy for Employment and Training”. Positive proof of the authorities conviction to help the underprivileged was Ibsar's achievement of successfully training 1200 visually impaired citizens. Prince Talal also emphasised the significant role being played by the successful businessmen who believe in the concept of the social responsibility. This has resulted in the formation of endowment committees at a number of chambers of commerce and industry. __
