Interesting matches were played in Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
In Huraymala League, Punjab Stars CC defeated Green Bangla CC by 6 wickets. Green Bangla posted 171. Mustafa scored 42 and Zakir 38. Hafiz Talha picked up 4 wickets. Punjab Stars got to the target in 18.3 overs. Yasif made 82 and Zaheer 55.
Riyadh Fighters got the better of Kashmir Strikers by 32 runs. Riyadh Fighters tallied 193-4. Imran Younous hit 52 and Abdul Hameed 49. Sameer claimed 2 wickets. Strikers scored 161-6 in reply. Sameer contributed 66 and Shabbir 25. Imran Younous took 3 wickets.
Karachi Dolphins thrashed Mohmand CC by 8 wickets. Mohmand CC was bundled out for 88. Zainullah grabbed 4 wickets and Anwar 3. Dolphins raced to the target in 7.5 overs. Aziz remained unbeaten on 56.
Al-Harbi CC beat Roadecho Stallions by 7 wickets. Stallions, batting first, put on 202. Ayaz belted 51 and Adeel 30. Moin picked up 4 wickets and Salman 2. Al-Harbi CC got to the target in 18.3 overs. Samiullah blasted 64 and Salman 51.
In Hayer League, White Star CC downed Itihad CC by 5 wickets. Itihad CC posted 142. Sajjid scored 38 and Badar 34. Irfan claimed 4 wickets and Naeem 3. White Star CC won the match in 15.1 overs. Rashid hit 41 and Umar 30. Ahsan picked up 2 wickets.
Detecon Eagles defeated Smart Irtikaz CC by 27 runs. Eagles put on 217-6. Niazi scored 73 and Asif 36. Amir took 3 wickets. Smart Irtikaz CC managed 191-7. Umair scored 80 and Faisal 57. Uzair bagged 2 wickets.
Pakhtunkhwa Gladiators beat Talented CC by 63 runs. Gladiators, batting first, amassed 208-6. Naveed smashed 65 and Abdullah 51. Umar claimed 2 wickets. Talented CC managed 145. Saqib and Abdulrahman made 32 each. Iftikhar picked up 4 wickets and Abdullah 3.
Challengers XI prevailed over Kashmir XI by 8 wickets. Kashmir XI was all out for 104. Amir contributed 27 and Arif 25. Aneesh and Karthik grabbed 3 wickets each, while Faisal and Ashraf got 2 each. Challengers XI won the match in 9.2 overs. Fazil scored 35 and Fahad 23.
Indian Strikers thrashed Pak Riderz by 9 wickets. Pak Riderz was bundled out for a meager 70. Aneesh Ashok picked up 5 wickets and Mithun 3. Indian Strikers rushed to the target in 6.4 overs. Kanan made 32. — SG
