Kashmir XI and Phoenix win in SAIB T20

RIYADH - Kashmir XI and Phoenix scored impressive wins in round 9 matches of the SAIB T20 Tournament here recently.
The tournament is sponsored by Saudi Arabian Investment Bank (SAIB) and organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
In Hayer League, Detecon Eagles beat TBCC by 57 runs. Eagles posted 215-6. Aftab hit 57, Rizwan 46 and Imdad 41. TBCC managed 157, in reply. Hakeem added 35. Dilbar picked up 4 wickets and Omar 3.
Kashmir XI defeated Karachi Dolphins by 35 runs. Kashmir XI scored 174 as Ishfaq made 49 and Amir 32. Zain picked up 3 wickets and Salman 2. Dolphins was restricted to 139-6. Rizwan top scored with 44. Amir and Faisal took 2 wickets each.
Thales CC thrashed Pakhtunkhwa Gladiators by 7 wickets. Gladiators scored 131 with Amjad making 47. Shuja scalped 4 wickets and Qaiser 2. Thales won the match in 13.4 overs. Qaiser hit 41 and Aftab 36.
Green Bangla got the better of Tigers by 106 runs. Green Bangla posted 226-2. Zahidul Islam blasted 152 and Saiful Islam Badal 61. Junaid bagged 2 wickets. Tigers, in reply, scored 130. Zakir, Shahid, Zahid and Raju claimed 2 wickets each.
In Diriyah League, Phoenix beat Abana by 68 runs. Phoenix scored 168-4. Asif notched 89 and Furqan 45. Omar took 2 wickets. Abana managed only 100. Asif, Ammar and Antar grabbed 2 wickets each.
Battagram Zalmi edged Etihad by 1 wicket. Etihad scored 155-9 with Talseen top scoring with 68. Shoaib picked up 3 wickets and Naeem 2. Battagram Zalmi managed 156-9. Naeem added 40 and Shoaib 30.
Pak Riderz thrashed Smashers by 50 runs. Pak Riderz scored 212-4. Shehryar scored 73, Rashid 46 and Fawad 41. Zeeshan took 2 wickets. Smashers managed 162-9. Talal added 52 and Saad 37. Majid bagged 3 wickets and Hilal 2.
King Lions XI got the better of Afridi by 4 wickets. Afridi scored 150-9. Imran added 59. Jahangir picked up 4 wickets and Mohasen 3. King Lions XI reached the target in 18.4 overs with Rony scoring 47 and Mohasen 43. Farooq and Sarfraz claimed 3 wickets each.
All Stars humbled Riyadh Warriors CSK by 6 wickets. Warriors posted 184-6. Bilal added 42 and Abdul Ghafoor 28. Dawood claimed 2 wickets. All Stars reached the target in 16.4 overs. Hilal scored 82 and Haris 66.
Pak Stallions beat Hara United by 81 runs. Pak Stallions put on 180-4 with Aqeel blasting 50 and Ansar 46. Abdullah scalped 2 wickets. Hara United managed only 99, in reply.
Youngsters XI beat Kingdom Warriors by 7 wickets. Kingdom Warriors posted 108. Ahsan Cheema picked up 5 wickets. Youngsters XI won the match in 14 overs. Abdulrahman scored 52 and Anees 23.
Earlier, Mohammed Anwar, RCA patron/chairman, inaugurated the recently renovated pavilions at the RCA Complex.
