Falcons and Roadecho Stallions advance

The quarterfinals of the SAIB T20 Tournament were played here at RCA Complex. The tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Arabian Investment Bank (SAIB).
In Huraymala League, Kashmir Strikers beat Lahore Badshah Green by 4 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green scored 167-8. Sahib Zahideen and Atif Hussain notched 84 and 52 runs, respectively. For Strikers, Jahangeer Basheer was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 5-18. Sameer took 2 wickets.
Kashmir Strikers reached the target in 19 overs with major contributions from Asim (46) and Shabbir (42). Waseem Azhar picked up 3 wickets and Mohammed Akram 2.
In the 2nd quarterfinal, Friends CC beat Riyadh Blues. In the 3rd quarterfinal, Falcons defeated Punjab Stars by 9 runs. Falcons posted 164-8 thanks mainly to Farhan Mushtaq, who scored 66. Asif bagged 3 wickets and Roshan 2. Punjab Stars managed 155. Zaheer top scored with 48. Manzoor and Zahid claimed 3 wickets each while Sajjad got 2.
Roadecho Stallions got the better of Riyadh Warriors by 11 runs. Stallions scored 157-9. Imran added 34 and Hamza 33. Warriors, in reply, managed 146-5. Abdulrahim added 60 and Abdulziz 35. Adil picked up 2 wickets.
In Hayer League, Pakistan Falcons got the better of White Star CC in the first quarterfinal.
Nouman Gymkhana thrashed Pakhtunkhawa Gladiators by 80 runs. Nouman Gymkhana posted 217-6. Mudassar scored 60 and Hafeez 56. Shams bagged 3 wickets. Gladiators was restricted to 137. Ali added 39 and Munir 21. Mudassar also performed well with the ball and claimed 4 wickets.
Green Bangla downed Detecon Eagles by 40 runs. Green Bangla scored 161-9. Saif Ul Islam added 39 and Mazhar Ul Haq 37. Rizwan, Uzair and Umar got 2 wickets each. Eagles, in reply, scored 121. Umar added 24 and Dilbar 22. Abdur Rahim Alamin picked up 5-13.
Al Harbi thrashed Riyadh Fighters PPF by 7 wickets. Riyadh Fighters PPF scored 148 with Kashif making 35. Asif scalped 3 wickets, while Salman and Naimat got 2 each. Al Harbi reached the target in 14 overs. Farooq hit 52 and Salman 51. Qaiser bagged 2 wickets.
In Diriyah League, Pak Riderz CC beat L'usine CC by 74 runs. Pak Riderz scored 225-3. Fawad Ur Rehman added 89 and Shehriyar Butt 82. Faisal got 2 wickets. L'usine CC managed 151. Shahriyar Malik scored 27. Ashab took 4 wickets and Hilal 3.
King Lions XI beat Etihad by 91 runs. King Lions XI notched 198-9. Mohasen Sarkar scored 104. Atif picked up 3 wickets while Ahsan and Farhat got 2 each. Etihad CC scored 107-9. Talseen added 29. Jewel claimed 3 wickets.
Pak Stallions beat Riyadh Rhinos in the 3rd quarterfinal.
In the last quarter, Challengers XI beat Youngsters XI by 4 wickets.
Youngsters XI scored 161-7. Faisal picked up 4 wickets. Challengers XI was home in 18 overs. Habeeb and Faisal scored 35 each. Cheema and Athar picked up 2 wickets each.
