Prince Sultan Aviation Academy earns ISO 9001:2015 certificate

PRINCE Sultan Aviation Academy (PSAA), a strategic business unit of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) and the leading aviation training center in the Kingdom, has successfully renewed and upgraded its Quality Management System fulfilling the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, an internationally-recognized standard on Quality Management Systems (QMS) developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The certification process was conducted by Intertek, the world's leading and most recognized certification provider. This certification to ISO 9001:2015 indicates PSAA's pledge to continually improve the effectiveness of its Quality Management System to meet the requirements of its customers and other stakeholders.
The ISO 9001:2015 Certificate was received by Capt. Badr A. Alolayan, Managing Director of Prince Sultan Aviation Academy from Samir Ahmed, General Manager of Intertek Saudi Arabia Business Assurance Division during a handover ceremony held at PSAA office in Jeddah, in the presence of Captain Abdulmoghni Althubaiti, Director Training PSAA; Essam Sabir, Manager Audit & Quality Assurance (D) PSAA; Zeinab Ibrahim, Senior Auditor PSAA; and Hesham Abbas, Area Manager Intertek BA Saudi Arabia Western Region.
"The ISO certification is a result of commitment and hard work of PSAA team and we are very honored to get audited by Intertek lead auditors who demonstrated excellent professionalism and due diligence in conducting our audit and recommending us for certification, said Capt. Badr A. Alolayan during the certificate handover ceremony. Samir Ahmed added that "it was a matter of prestige to receive a very positive feedback about the auditing services provided by the Intertek team to PSAA and it served to reinforce our commitment to provide best services to our clients."
