The Board of Directors of Okaz Organization for Press and Publications met on Saturday to discuss the performance of the organization during the fiscal year ending on Dec. 31. The board, which met under its chairman Abdullah Saleh Kamel, reviewed the measures being taken to improve the performance and rationalize expenditure in light of the current challenges facing the media industry. The board discussed various options to cope with the current changes in the media market in order to preserve the organization's gains and boost revenues. The board also discussed annual budgets of the organization's various sections 2017, in addition to other relevant topics, and took a number of decisions. The board reviewed new developments in the Comprehensive Printing Arab Company Lit and its implications on the organization's financial statements under directives from the company's board of directors and partners. The meeting was attended by Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil, Nabeel Al-Hossain, Walid Bin Mahfouz, Tariq Fadaq, Ahmed Al-Youssuf, Hussain Shobokshi, Walid Arab Hashim, and Mussalam Bin Mussalam, in addition to Director General Walid Qattan, Okaz Editor in Chief Jameel Al-Diyabi and Ahmed Al-Battah, secretary-general of the board.
