JEDDAH — The board of directors of Okaz Organization for Press and Publication discussed the organization's performance during the period ending April 30 this year and reviewed ways and means to boost revenue and rationalize spending. The board meeting on Saturday, presided over by its Chairman Abdullah Bin Saleh Kamel, also discussed performance of all publications of the organization to support their growth and enable them to achieve their targets. The board asked the various departments to exert strenuous efforts to achieve more progress and to focus mainly on the conditions of the new editions and provide them with methods of success to be strong, able to compete and become additional source of income for the organization. The board discussed a number of other relevant issues concerning the mission and objectives of the organization and took the proper decisions on them. It discussed a number of projects that will help realize the organization's objectives in becoming a body with press and printing activities to boost its human and technical capabilities. The meeting was attended by Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel, Nabeel Al-Hossain, Waleed Bin Mahfouz, Tariq Fadqaa (via telephone), Ahmed Al-Youssef, Hussein Shobokshi, Walid Arab Hashim, Muslim Bin Muslim in addition to Waleed J. Kattan (director general) and Jameel Al-Diyabi, editor-in-chief of Okaz. Secretary General of the board, Ahmed Bin Solaiman Al-Battah, was also present during the deliberations.
