JEDDAH: Okaz Organization for Press and Publication has achieved distinctive results for the first quarter of the current financial year. The Board of Directors, which met Thursday under the chairmanship of Dr. Sa'ed Al-Urabi Al-Harithy, endorsed the first quarter report which showed the company meeting its financial and administrative goals. The report will be sent to the members of the General Assembly for further input. The board of directors commended the performance of the organization's administration and staff in helping the company's development. The board also reviewed current developments in the print media industry and its plans to meet any new challenges. The board approved its schedule for future meetings in addition to the date for the regular gathering of the General Assembly. Present at the meeting were Dr. Waleed Arab Hashem, Deputy Chairman of the board; Dr. Hamoud Al-Badr; Abdul Lateef Al-Jabr; Abdullah Saleh Kamel; Abdullah Omar Khayyat; Tareq Fadak; Hussein Shobokshi; Dr. Waleed Jameel Kattan, the organization's Director General; and Ahmad Sulaiman Al-Battah, the board's Secretary General.
