Its aim is to give the trainees the technical and professional skills needed as well as learning opportunities through practical hands-on training, and motivate and encourage their creativity. During his visit to the workshop, a number of the institute graduates welcomed the minister and his accompanying delegation and presented an explanation of the professional skills and scientific technical capabilities they have learned and acquired during the their study in the institute and how these contributed and helped them to integrate work after graduation and joining the companies that employed them. SEHAI is a joint venture that embodies the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and Japan. Its active role contributes directly to the goal of "Learn to Work" enshrined in 2030 Vision, where the institute trains the Saudi trainees and qualifies them technically and professionally by providing them with the technical skills and knowledge required, develops the level of their awareness of business ethics and ensures employment for each trainee of the Institute, through the technical training program provided to the trainee for two years. SEHAI was founded by a group of Saudi businessmen, in collaboration with the Japanese manufacturers: Daikin, Fujitsu General, Hitachi, JVC Kenwood, Konica Minolta, Panasonic, Sharp, Sony and Toshiba Companies. Since its inception, the institute is under the supervision of Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) as one of the strategic partner institutes.
