Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, the Governor of CITC, accompanied by a prominent delegation, inspected the Mobily's preparations for the Haj season 1437H. Ahmad Farroukh, Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Maziad Al Harbi, Chief Executive Officer and chief of Haj Committee, and a number of Mobily's leaders were at their reception at Muzdalifah. Mobily's leaders welcomed the Governor and the CITC delegation who inspected together Mobily's exceptional work and the preparations taken to sustain the network's readiness for the success of the Hajj season and to provide a distinctive services to pilgrims and visitors who are worthy of care and attention. A detailed presentation about the infrastructure development projects within the holy sits area and Haj Central Zone was presented, showing the role of FTTH network in interconnecting the fixed and moving towers, including Al Jamarat Bridge to ensure smooth streaming of local and international calls and movement of data without disconnections. Moreover, the work team reviewed the sales and marketing plans which provide integrated services to pilgrims at competitive prices. Ahmad Farroukh expressed his delight for the visit, and confirmed that the interest shown by the government in Haj preparations is not surprising, and the telecom sector in the Kingdom finds a remarkable support from the government, which obviously reflected on the Kingdom Vision 2030. Mobily has announced its comprehensive plan covering all operational aspects for the Haj Season of this year; this is attributed to its huge experience during the past years.
