RIYADH – The fiber optic network that linked Mobily's mobile and fixed towers, including the Jamarat bridge tower, will contribute to the flexibility of traffic in communication and data, Mobily Chief Operating Officer Engineer Nasser Al Nasser confirmed. He said Mobily relies on seven main exchange centers in Makkah and the holy sites, including two international centers with large capacities to pass the pilgrims' international calls to countries all over the world easily and conveniently – as expected by Mobily's technical work team each season who estimates the number of calls that will be done by the pilgrims. Al Nasser added that the geographical nature of the holy sites is no longer an obstacle for Mobily to provide high quality telecommunications services and data for the pilgrims.
