MOBILY has finalized all preparations and arrangements to serve the pilgrims. All technical tests to ensure the high quality of provided services have been completed, The company announced. Mobily mentioned that its Haj committees' members are working around the clock to ensure the finest telecommunication services and to enable pilgrims to perform their rituals. The packages and services provided by Mobily in the Haj season is considered another dimension for the development of the telecommunication and information technology services in the Kingdom. This can be witnessed through the spread out of fiber optics network, the fixed and mobile network towers, WI-FI networks and the marketing points outside the Kingdom, in Indonesia, Turkey, Egypt & Malaysia, and the spread out of sales outlets in most vital areas including King Abdulaziz Airport at Jeddah & Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Airport at Madinah. Engineer Khalid Bin Omar Al Kaf, Mobily's MD & CEO stressed that Mobily's preparations for this year Haj season, were actually started directly after the end of last year season, in coordination with the different governmental agencies. Al Kaf added that Mobily ensures to double its efforts and to update and increase the capacity of its networks that serve more than three million people available in a very limited area that does not exceed tens of kilometers. AL Kaf added “ our previous experience encourages us to fulfill all the pilgrims requirements efficiently relying on our huge fiber optics network, international circuits and towers. In the same context, Mobily has completed all marketing and sales preparations, such as direct sales services, definition of products, sale outlets at international airports and “Miqats” and the surrounding areas to provide integrated services to pilgrims and visitors, including 4G and 3G services, sales of smart phones, prepaid lines, payment facilities and other miscellaneous services. During Haj season, all Mobily operations are continuously followed-up by senior executive leadership that is permanently available in “Al Masher” area.
