The loser lost steam and committed back-to-back turnovers as the game neared its end. Lapiz topscored with 23 points for the winner and was adjudged the Seiko Watch Player of the Game. Renee topscored for the loser with 21 points. Khalidia Tambayz of coach Gerry Acosta downed Fame 105-96. Carino and Pugoy chipped in with 19 points apiece for Khalidia Tambayz and were adjudged the New Cabalen Restaurant Players of the Game. Garcia had 47 points for the loser. ICTHUS of Dennis Elmenzo thrashed Sunbullah 117-68. Carbonnel had 31 points with his inside plays for the winner and picked up the Seiko Watch Player of the Game honor. Munez scored 21 points for the loser. Lions of coach Rey Maddatu defeated Eagles 86-77 in overtime. Lazaro topscored with 21 points with his daring attack for the winner and was pronounced the JBL Player of the Game. Dolloso collected 28 points for the loser. Wasalak 40's of playing coach Fred Conception got the better of JDC Veterans 91-70. Brian scored 23 points for the winner and was named the Seiko Watch Player of the Game. Manlangit topscored with 17 points for the loser. Meanwhile, SNKSJ (Samahan Ng Kabataan Sa Jeddah) - JBL Teens will join the 1st BM Regional Basketball Tournament in Riyadh on Sept. 13-14. The two-day event will be played at Al-Yamamah Hotel under the leadership of James Smith. Riyadh will be bannered by Black Mamba Basketball and Second Philippine International School, Al-Khobar All Star will be represented by Philippine International School in Al-Khobar and Jeddah All Star SNKSJ JBL Teens.
