Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Khak-e-Taiba Trust Jeddah (KTT) honored two prominent Saudi personalities at a function recently held here. The two prominent personalities were Mohd. M. Jamjoom, a renowned philanthropist, and Khalid Almaeena, editor at large at Saudi Gazette daily newspaper. Speaking on the occasion Jamjoom expressed his gratitude for the honor and applauded KTT's work and appreciated all people who supported their work. He said, "The sincere efforts of the (KTT's) work would blossom." While addressing the gathering Almaeena praised the work done by KTT here and in Hyderabad. He said: "I did visit the KTT Hyderabad center and was really impressed at what I saw. Jeddah's KTT organization is truly a masterpiece, it gives hope to people and this is what all life is about." He also lauded KTT's role in promoting education among the deprived and appreciated Jamjoom for his contributions to the cause. Shameem Kausar, Trustee, KTT Jeddah chapter, praised Jamjoom as a kind, soft-hearted and a God-fearing human being, adding: "Because of his generous support we were able to educate more than 23, 000 students of different nationalities through our computer center. He has always helped us every time during the time of our need, motivated us and gave his marvelous support in our work." KTT Jeddah also felicitated the newly elected municipal corporator of Hyderabad, Mahmood Sohail Qadri, who was also present in the program. Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Trustee, KTT Jeddah chapter, also appreciated Jamjoom's and Almaeena's support and briefed all about Almaeena's versatile personality and shed light on his services to the audience. KTT President Ahmed Abdul Hakeem commended the exemplary services extended by both dignitaries. Hakeem observed that they offered their assistances on numerous occasions, which motivated KTT to complete their work succesfully. Imran Kausar, director computer center KTT, displayed a Power Point presentation featuring all KTT activities in Jeddah and back home in Hyderabad, and that added much valuable information for the visiting dignitaries and audience. He highlighted the organization's services which provides free education and free course books, uniforms, bags and shoes etc. along with different assistances of deprived women empowerment. Later successful students the recent batch of KTT Computer Center received their certificates from the guests. The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Qari Mohd. Noor followed by a Naat by Salman Shakeel Afsar. Earlier, KTT senior officials present flower bouquets to the guests. The moderation of the function was done by the Trustee and General Secretary Syed Khaja Viqaruddin and concluded by vote of thanks from Syed Rafat Shah.
