JEDDAH — Khake-Taiba Trust Jeddah will host an elocution competition for school students at the Indian Consulate premises on Friday. Several schools in the city will participate in the contest. Syed Khaja Viqaruddin, general secretary of KTT, said the annual event would provide students of different nationalities representing various schools in the city with a platform to connect and showcase their vocal talent. Program convener Aleem Khan Falaki, chief adviser of the trust, will conduct different phases of the contest while KTT's president Ahmed Abdul Hakeem will preside over the function. Mohammad Raghib Qureshi, head of chancery and consul (education) at the Indian consulate, will be the chief guest while prominent media figure Khaled Almaeena will be the guest of honor. — SG
