Nazeer blasts unbeaten 144

Saudi hammered unbeaten 144 in just 61 balls in the 12th week of the Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) League.
Otex and Hala Academy White topped the respective groups in the WPCA Morning Tournament. Zultec downed My Care Hala, Elaf Advance won its maiden encounter against Usman Gems and Crown defeated Dopco.
In the Morning League, Al-Saudi XI plundered 252-5 as Nazeer cracked 144 not out in just 61 balls. Abbas made 32 and Mazher 31 to get to the record tally of the tournament against Mercedes Benz which was bundled out for 139. Adil scalped 3-29 and Afzal 2-23. G D Design won against Otex by 3 wickets, Johnson Control Green tied the match against Attieh Steel at174 and Hala International School declared winner against ALJ.
My Care Hala made 178-5 with Maqsood making 59and Kashif 53. Khurram Karamat contributed a quickfire 29. Usman took 2-29 while Javed Iqbal and Anis Malik got one wicket each. Zultec in reply lost 3 wickets early but Jawwad played superbly to hit 82 off 42 balls and steer the team to 179-5 with 2 balls to spare. Javed Iqbal hit 34. Waqas got 3-25 and Abdullah 2-29.
Crown Steel racked up 210 for 6 against Dopco. Abu Huraira topscored with an unbeaten 68, Hammad made 52, Shoaib 30 and Babar 26. Shahbaz claimed 2-49. Riaz, Javeed, Khurram and Adnan took one wicket each. Dopco was bowled out for 164 with only Nadeem making 48. Shoaib grabbed 2-11, Ijaz 2-10, Shafeeq 2-30, Abid 2-31 and Hussain Bhatti one.
Elaf Advance piled up 169 for 2 against Usman Gems as Majid scored 61 and Siddique 54. Kashan and Zahid were the wicket-takers. In reply Usman Gems was bowled out for 152 as Qamar Azad grabbed 4-24, Hasnain 3-35, Usman 2-16 and Irfan one. Nadeem Butt made 54 and Zohaib 45.
