My Care Hala thrashed MAZCO, Usman Gems trounced Asian Plastic Factory, Zultec downed AOT GFC and Dopco Stars defeated Al-Saudi in Dopco Premier Cup tournament sponsored by Dopco Company and managed by the Western Province Cricket Association here. My Care Hala beat MAZCO by 257 runs. My Care Hala first plundered 438 runs with Kashif Shafeeq blasting 164 off 102 balls. First he added 102 runs with Qazzafi (25) and then 112 runs with Waqas (42). Waheed made 86 and Maqsood 22 to help their team reach 438-8 in 40 overs. Tabassum took 2-96, while Amir Sardar, Nabeel, Arfan took a wicket each. MAZCO was never in the hunt and was all out for 181 as Waqas Ausaf grabbed 4-48, Umar 3-30 and Mohsin Mirza 2-30. The second match saw Usman Gems beat APF by 109 runs. Batting first Usman Gems was all out for 299. Moazzam Shoukat hit 125 runs while Amjad (31), Imran Choudhry (30) were the others among the runs out. Arshad scalped 5-56, Wajahat had 3-61 and Amjad 2-63. APF in reply lost early wickets and was tottering at 71-4 with only skipper Nadeem Amin making 41, Wajahat 43 and Imran Nasir 37 as the team could score only 190 runs. Kashan took 3-31, Zahid 2-15, Asif 2-31, while Waqas, Amjad and Imran Sarwar took a wicket each. Another match saw Dopco Stars beat Al-Saudi by 86 runs. Dopco Stars taking the strike first lost wickets at regular intervals, but managed to make 227 runs. Usman made 48, Riyaz Mohammed Khan 35, Hasanat 46 and Ajmal Khan 45. Salman took 3-48 on his debut, Nadeem Saad 3-52, Abdullah 2-25 as Afzal and Abbas bagged a wicket each. Al-Saudi was reduced to 98-5 before being bundled out for 141. Afzal Saleem top-scored with 62 and Arsalan scored 21 as Khurram took 4-31, Mehboob Bobby 2-13 and Ejaz 2-41 as Riyaz Khan and Ajmal had a wicket each. The last encounter saw Zultec down AOT GFC by four wickets. AOT GFC scored 282 thanks to Shahzad (50), Faiq Habib (47), Nasir Iqbal (32) and Faisal (29). Zeeshan and Imran Yusuf later added 23 each. Khalid Iqbal scalped 3-23, Abdullah Essa 3-37 and Jawwad 2-29. Zultec in response was reduced to 46-3, but skipper Anis Malik (72) added 136 runs for the fourth wicket with Abdullah Essa (120 not out). Jawwad remained unbeaten on 36 to help carry the side to the victory target of 286-6. Faiq Habib was the only successful bowler with 3-47.
