RIYADH — KFSH Blues and Pak Eagles emerged champions in RCA American Express T20 tournament in Al-Kharaj and Huraymala leagues respectively here recently. Following a thrilling super over, KFSH Blues defeated Pak Shaheen by 1 run to clinch the Al-Kharaj League crown. Batting first, Pak Shaheen posted 215. Ishaq top scored with 53, while Waheed added 46 and Wahab 33. Imtiaz picked up 3 wickets and Nadeem Babar 2. KFSH Blues leveled the scores for the loss of 6 wickets. Nadeem Babar starred with 109 off 65 balls. Yasir helped with his 45. Dawood and Javed took 2 wickets each. KFSH Blues then scored 11 runs in the super over and restricted Pak Shaheen to 10-2. Iftikhar Ali was the star of the super over as he claimed both the wickets. Mohmmad Nadeem Babar was named the Man of the Match. Faisal Khan won the Best Player award, while Best Batsman and Best Bowler's awards went to Ishaq Ahmad and Jabbar Hussain, respectively. Pak Eagles emerged champion in the Hayer League beating Thales by 65 runs. Pak Eagles put on 223 for the loss of 6 wickets. Altaf Tahir blasted an outstanding 61, while Farooq hit 40 and Shabir 36. Zaheer and Aasim bagged 2 wickets each. Thales could manage only 151. Aziz top scored with 41 and Zaheer smashed 29. Masaud and Waheed scalped 4 wickets each. Altaf picked up 2 wickets. Altaf Tahir was named Man of the Match. Amjad Ali emerged as the Best Player of the tournament. The Best Batsman award went to Mohammad Arshad, while Mohammad Iqbal clinched the Best Bowler award. A grand prize distribution ceremony was held after the finals. RCA General Secretary Nasir Abbasi anchored the event. Georges Baaklini of American Express was the chief guest. Tariq Javed, RCA president; Nadeem Babar, RCA CEO; Abdul Kareem Khan, RCA senior vice president; and RCA executive committee members were also present on this occasion.
