RIYADH — Pak Shaheen and L'usine emerged champions in their respective leagues of the Saudi Orix Tournament here recently.
The Saudi Orix Tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Orix Leasing Company.
In the 40-over Al-Kharaj League, Pak Shaheen thrashed KFSH Blues by 129 runs to clinch the trophy. Batting first, Pak Shaheen put on 359 in 39.5 overs. Ishaq played a stylish innings of 106. Faisal was caught in the nervous 90s (96). Salam batted well for his 62. Iftikhar showed his form with the ball taking 5 wickets and Raja bagged 3.
In reply, KFSH Blues was restricted to 230. Irshad top scored with 52, while Abdul Malik and Khurram scored 32 and 30, respectively. Aziz grabbed 3 wickets, while Javed and Salam claimed 2 wickets each. Man of the Match:

In Diriyah League, L'usine thumped Punjab Stars by 42 runs to claim the crown. L'usine scored 185 for 7. Talal top scored with 61, while Rustam (38) and Ali (31) were the other main contributors. Tauseef took 3 wickets and Yasif 2. Punjab Stars was bowled out for 143. Umer picked up 4 wickets and Ali 2. Man of the Match: Umar Hasham.
Nasir Abbasi hosted the award ceremony. Tariq Javed, president of RCA and chairman of the Saudi Cricket Centre EC, Nadeem Babar, special representative of Prince General Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and RCA CEO, Abdul Kareem Khan, senior vice president of RCA, and representatives of Saudi Orix Company were among the guests.
Babar congratulated RCA officials for successfully organizing the tournament. Javed thanked Saudi Orix for sponsoring the tournament. He also appreciated RCA management for its continuous commitment toward cricket.
