Pak Shaheen and Falcons emerge champions in RCA's MoneyGram

RIYADH — Pak Shaheen and Falcons emerged champions in Al-Kharaj and Huraymala leagues, respectively, in RCA MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah 2015 here.
In the 40-over Al-Kharaj League final, Pak Shaheen defeated KFSH Blues by 85 runs. Batting first, Pak Shaheen posted 301-9 with Ishaq Ahmed smashing a brilliant 100 and Qadir 68. Raja Gulraiz bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets, while Iftikhar bagged 3. In reply, KFSH Blues was bowled out for 216 in 34 overs. Irshad top scored with 63 and Usman mustered 59. Abuzar took 3 wickets, while Abdul Wahab, Ibrar ul Haq and Ateeq claimed 2 each. Man of the Match: Ishaq Ahmed.
In the T20 Huraymala League final, Falcons out-classed Riyadh Warriors by 8 wickets. Batting first, Riyadh Warriors fumbled to a meager 99. Ayaz with 24 and Abdul Ghufoor 22 were the only batsmen to show some resistance. Sajjad Khan took 4 wickets and Ali scalped 2. Falcons chased the target in 12 overs. Kamran Akram hit 33, Nazim 25 and Asif Zaki 24. Abdul Ghafoor took one wicket. Man of the Match: Sajjad Khan.
A prize distribution ceremony was held after the finals. Chief Guest Qasim Naqvi from Saudi Cricket Centre and RCA President Tariq Javed distributed the trophies and medals to the winners and runners-up. Kit bags were also presented to top performers.
In the Al-Kharaj League, Abdul Wahab emerged as Player of the Tournament, while Abdul Waheed and Ibrar ul Haq were awarded Best Batsman and Best Bowler prizes.
In the Huraymala League, Muhammad Afzal was declared Player of the Tournament, while Kamran Akram and Sultan picked up Best Batsman and Best Bowler awards, respectively.
The Saudi Cricket Centre also presented certificates to RCA players who represented Saudi Arabia at international level.
Special SCC prizes were presented to RCA officials for their efforts in organizing the tournament successfully.
The tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and sponsored by MoneyGram Transfer Service.
