RIYADH — KFSH Blues, Pak Shaheen, Pak Force, Fonte Star, Thales, Pak Eagles, Abana and Seham qualified for the finals in four different leagues of the RCA American Express T20 Tournament in Riyadh. Al-Kharaj League In first semifinal, KFSH Blues defeated Shuraim by 5 wickets. Batting first, Shuraim posted 197 for 7. Mudassar smashed 51 and Zeeshan 39. Iftikhar claimed 3 wickets and Usman 2. In reply, KFSH Blues chased down the target in 18 overs. Nasir Abbasi blasted a quick-fire 45, Nadeem Babar 32 and Imtiaz 53. Faisal took 2 wickets. Imtiaz Butt was named the Man of the Match. In the other semifinal, CKK lost to Pak Shaheen by 4 wickets. CKK was bundled out for 147. Abuzar grabbed 3 wickets, while Faisal and Waheed took 2 each. Pak Shaheen reached the target in 16.4 overs. Waheed (54), Ateeq (40) and Wahab (23) took Pak Shaheen to the final. Abdul Waheed was adjudged the Man of the Match. Huraymala League Fonte Star thumped Sinmar by 6 wickets. Sinmar posted 178 for 7. Ishtiaq hit 40, Shershad 34 and Navas 24. Afaq bagged 3 wickets and Ghulam 2. Fonte Star reached the target in 18.5 overs. Safdar (72) and Yasir (56) smashed fifties. Waseem also batted well for his 30. Akbar took 2 wickets. Safdar was the Man of the Match. The second semifinal saw Pak Force register a victory over Riyadh Fighters. Hayer League Pak Eagles humbled Aisco by 2 wickets. Aisco scored 211 as Shehzad top scored with 66 while Amjad and Mohib added 41 each. Waheed and Farooq picked up 2 wickets each. Pak Eagles scored the required runs (212) in 19.3 overs. Farooq played a match-winning innings of 82, while Badar (32) and Altaf (27) also contributed to the victory. Amjad scalped 3 wickets and Naimat 2. Farooq was adjudged the Man of the Match. Thales downed Pasban by 4 wickets. Pasban was all out for 147. Izhar (40) and Arshad (23) showed some resistance. Ali and Abdul took 2 wickets each. Thales rushed to the target in 16.3 overs. Aziz, Abdullah and Tabrez scored 25 each. Zain and Muzamil bagged 2 wickets each. Ali Behzad was awarded the Man of the Match honor. Diriyah League Abana humbled Riyadh Fighters PPF by 9 wickets. Riyadh Fighters PPF was bowled out for 144. Abu Bakaer, Adnan and Nadeem picked up 2 wickets each. Abana scored the required 145 in 14.1 overs. Adnan (47), Abu Baker (42) and Shahbaz (37) ensured an easy win.
