An expatriate died after he was run over by a driver while crossing the street on Saturday. Taif Red Crescent spokesman Shadi Al-Thubaiti said the man was run over while crossing Al-Huda Road. Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital, but he died on the way. Police have arrested the driver suspected of running the man over. The police are still investigating the incident. Gang selling drugs arrested JEDDAH — The police arrested a gang of Arab expatriates for selling drugs at a café in Jeddah. Police said they received reports of a gang of five Egyptian men working at a café in Al-Sharafiyah District who would add hashish to shishas when requested by some customers. The gang had been selling drugs at the café without the knowledge of the management. Police investigated the café further before finding pills and hashish hidden in bottles and containers in the restrooms. All gang members were arrested and the case has been forwarded to the pertinent authorities. 3 injured in road accident HAFR AL-BATIN — Two women and their driver were injured in a road accident on King Khalid Military City-Al-Dhaybiyah Highway. A source said the two women are teachers who were on their way to the school they work at when their car had a flat tire, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle, which rolled multiple times. The victims suffered mild injuries and are currently recovering at a local hospital. The school the women work at is following up with their recovery. Man shot in the leg after fight in Qatif DAMMAM — A man was shot in his right leg after a fight between two individuals in Qatif. Eastern Province Police spokesman Col. Ziyadh Al-Raqiti said the Saudi man was shot by his compatriot out of revenge and retaliation over several earlier feuds.
