Abdulwaheed claims 5 scalps in 5 balls in SCC T20

JEDDAH — Abdulwaheed grabbed 6 wickets including a hat trick, Abid 5 and Nadeem another hat trick on a day where bowlers dominated the SCC Morning T20 Cup action.
Emper Perfumes thrashed Rising Stars by 45 runs. Emper Perfumes piled up 170 through Babar Rana (57), Zubair (22) and Kashif (23). Asim took 3-12, Talha 2-24 and Taiyyab 2-29. Rising Stars was left stranded at 125-9. Yasir made 27, Asim Hafiz 18 and Naseer 18. Usman Amjad took 5-29 and Mubasher 2.
MFCC beat Arcoma by 3 runs. MFCC racked up 195 for 5 as Shafaqat hit 38, Babar 32, Farhan 32 not out while Zia top scored with an unbeaten 47. Pervez Abid took 2-33. Arcoma reached 192 for 4 falling short by 3 runs. Kaleem hammered 75 and Pervez Abid 96 (10 boundaries and 4 sixes) as the two added 154 in 77 balls for the 1st wicket. Arcoma failed to score the required 21 in 12 balls. Shafaqat took 2-40.
Gujarat Eagles trounced Hanifa Tigers by 9 runs. Gujarat Eagles produced 135 for 7 thanks to Mukhtar Ahmed (33), Waqas (25) and Malik Arshad (24). Ammar grabbed 4 for 17. Hanifa Tigers replied with 126 for 6. Omair scored 17 and Omer 44. Mubasher scalped 3-22 and Adil 2-29.
Crown Blue thrashed INMA by 131 runs. Crown Blue racked up 196 for 5 with Naveed Sulehria making 57 and Haseeb 33 as they added 74. Junaid hit 44 and Saleem 23. Imran took 2-39. INMA, in chase, crashed for 65. Adeel (12) and Nadeem (14) were the scorers. Junaid scalped 4-8 and Saleem Mehar 2-12.
Zamil Cool Care humbled New Young Stars by 11 runs. Zamil Cool Care produced 113. Suhail scored 28, Abid 24 and Taher 25. Abdulwaheed sliced through by the batting lineup with a 6-wicket haul including a hat trick in his 4th over to finish with figures of 4-1-25-6 to restrict it to 113 from 110 for 4.He took 5 wickets in 5 balls. New Young Stars was restricted to 102 for 8 as Abid grabbed 5-25, Imtiyaz 2-11 and Anas 2-7. Qasim scored 19 and Abdulwaheed 16.
ADI XI had the last laugh against Star XI by 5 wickets. Star XI posted 143 for 9 thanks to Kaleem making 41 and Affan 20. Danial bowled well to take 4 for 19 and Nadeem 3-28. ADI was home (145) for the loss of 5 wickets in 102 balls through Omer Mehfooz (50 not out), Ijaz (28), Adeel (38) and Danial (15). Hasnain took 3 for 29.
Brasa De Brazil trounced Universal Cool & Cool by 7 wickets. Universal posted 153 for 8 as Bilal Qazi slammed 78 (9 fours and a six) as he added 95 with Abdulrehman (16). Waseem took 2-15, Furkan 2-19 and Arshad 2-24. Brasa De Brazil achieved 156 for 3 in 97 balls. Waseem smashed an unbeaten 50 in 36 balls, while Bilal hammered an unbeaten 63 to stitch together 120 for the unbroken 4th wicket partnership after their team was struggling at 36-3. Tariq Siddiqui returned figures of 3-29.
Jeddah Challengers downed Jeddah Tigers by 7 wickets. Jeddah Tigers was bundled out for 128. Waseem made 19 and Ammar 20. Majid took 4-25 and Anas 3-23. Jeddah Challengers reached the winning target of 129 for 3 as Rizwan hit 37, Abdulaziz 21 and Hadi 30. Kashif took 2-30.
Ralco defeated ALJ Toyota by 10 runs. Ralco produced 142 for 6 with Asif scoring 33, Naeem 34 and Arsalan 26. Two wickets each were taken by Aftab, Aamir and Arif. ALJ Toyota was restricted to 132 for 9 as Nadeem claimed a hat trick (3-26). Two scalps each were taken by Arsalan, Tanveer and Naeem. Zahid hit 22 and Azeem 17.
