Bowlers excel in SCC Morning T20

JEDDAH – Bowlers stole the show in the SCC Morning T20 Cup, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center (SCC) and organized by WPCA.
In the first match of the day, MFCC defeated Rising Stars by 9 wickets. Rising Stars posted 123-9 as Asim top scored with an unbeaten 50. Irfan hit 35. Babar scalped 3-22 and Hassham 2. MFCC recorded 125-1 in 85 balls to win. Shafaqat scored 51 in 38 balls as he first added 75 with Iftikhar (33) and then 50 for the unbroken second wicket with Farhan (22).
Emper Perfumes downed Gujarat Eagles by 30 runs. Emper Perfumes racked up 175-6. Babar blasted 72 in 46 balls with 3 sixes and 6 fours and Kashif 55 in 29 balls. Abdulqayyum remained unbeaten on 17. Ajmal claimed 2 wickets.
Gujarat Eagles, in reply, could manage 145-7 as Mukhtar Ahmed stroked 30, Arshad unbeaten 28, Sajjad 19 and Chand 15 not out. AbdulKareem and Mehboob Shabbir took 2 wickets each.
Al-Kabbani Cricket Group thrashed Harsco Baroom by 70 runs. Al-Kabbani piled up 195-8, thanks to Luqman Ulfat making 39, Imran 35, Faisal 52 in 22 balls and Jameel 15. Two wickets each were grabbed by Ali Alam, Ijaz and Ali Kazim. Harsco Baroom, in reply, was restricted to 125-8. Hasanat made 45 and Khizer 31. Luqman Ulfat scalped 3-22 and Imran 3-29.
Stallions trounced Inma CC by ten wickets. Inma was bundled out for 51 with only Yousuf touching double figures (17). Zakir claimed 3-9, while Osama and Waqas Munawwar got 2 each. Stallions reached 52 for no loss in just 29 balls as Abdulrehman scored unbeaten 17 and Hassan Ali unbeaten 27.
Crown Blue won against New Young Stars by 36 runs. Crown Blue put on 162-5. Naveed Sulehria smashed an unbeaten 75 in 52 balls with a six and 5 fours. He first added 51 with Haseeb (29) and then 65 for the fourth wicket with Saleem Mehar (26). Rafaqat scalped 3-36. New Young Stars were restricted to 126-6. Rafaqat hammered 69 in 53 balls with 6 fours. Iftikhar claimed 3-30 and Naveed Sulehria 2.
Sadafco got the better of ADI-XI by 7 wickets. ADI-XI, put into bat, was bowled out for 121. Ijaz scored 24, Balbinder 24, Farhan 16 and Danial 16. Iqbal grabbed 3-20, Zameer 3-28 and Ehtesham 2.
Sadafco reached 125-3 in 91 balls. Fahad remained unbeaten on 53 in 37 balls and Zubair unbeaten on 20.
Brasa De Brazil edged past G Best IDB by one wicket. G Best IDB posted 146-7 as Aleem smashed 51 in 39 balls, Jaffar 17 and Fakhar 20. Bilal grabbed 3-15 and Tariq 2. Brasa De Brazil reached 147 for the loss of 9 wickets in 106 balls. Bilal slammed 64 in 37 balls, Umair 24, Sajid 16 and Kashif 15. Two scalps each went to Alam, Salam and Nadeem.
QRCC blunted Al-Mazroi by 13 runs. QRCC put on 168-7 through Saleem Hindi (41) and Abdulrauf (40). Farhan claimed 3-38. Al-Mazroi-XI managed 155-7 as Faisal Patel hit 41, Mohsin 33, Sohail 30 and Sufiyan Laheri 15. Javed took 2 wickets.
ALJ Toyota humbled Jeddah Challengers by 10 wickets. Jeddah Challengers, who opted to bat first, were restricted to 104-9. Abdulaziz and Anees made 15 each. Tanveer Zamane claimed 3-22. Toyota wicketkeeper Zahid had 4 victims behind the stumps.
ALJ Toyota got to the winning target (105) in 65 balls without loss. Tanveer Zamane slammed an unbeaten 59 in 34 balls and Basheer remained not out on 34.
