JEDDAH — Hasanat Ali of Harsco Baroom and Tariq Siddiqui of Universal Cool & Cool hit centuries as Abdulqayyum (Pola) of Emper Perfumes claimed a hat trick in the SCC Morning Cup, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center (SCC) and organized WPCA.
Harsco Baroom, Emper Perfumes, Mercedes Benz, Crown Blue, Rehab Riders, Brasa De Brazil, Universal, ALJ Toyota and Ralco won their respective matches.
Harsco Baroom thrashed Hanifa Tigers by 22 runs. Harsco Baroom racked up 209-2. Hasanat Ali blasted an unbeaten 108 in 53 balls with 16 fours and 2 sixes, while Mansoor hit an unbeaten 52. Umer took 1-42 and Rehan 1-22.
Hanifa Tigers managed 187-6 as Umair hit 51, Faisal 36, Ashiq 26 and Omar 25 not out. Ali Kazmi took 4-41 and Ahsan 2. Emper Perfumes trounced Arcoma by 90 runs. Emper Perfumes piled up 194-4 with Babar hitting 64 in 38 balls. Kashif (43) stitched together 95 runs for the second wicket with Usman Amjad (51 not out off 19 balls). Pervez took 2-37.
In reply, Arcoma got stranded at 104. Abdyulqayyum recorded a hat trick (3-18), Usman Amjad took 3-15. Ahsan scored 26 and Nabeel 18. Mercedes Benz defeated Royal Brothers by 29 runs. Mercedes Benz posted 138.
Amaratullah hit 36 and Jabran 18. Hameed Khan scalped 4-12 and Ishtiaq 3-24. Royal Brothers, in chase, were stranded at 109-7. Hanif top-scored with an unbeaten 40 and Waqar hit 23. Saifuddin took 3-21 and Javed 2-15.
Crown Blue had the last laugh against Zamil Cool Care by 7 wickets. Zamil Cool Care put on 151-8. Abid hit 46, Taher 37 and Suhail 24. Sohail took 2-14. Crown Blue reached the target with 7 wickets in hand in 90 balls.
Naveed smashed an unbeaten 59 in 33 balls, while Saleem Mehar remained not out on 59 off 32 balls. Abid took 3-20. Rehab Riders downed GBest IDB by 18 runs. Rehab Riders produced 143-5. Maqsood hit 50, Sany 36 and Ateeq 21. Alam took 2-28.
GBest IDB, in response, was restricted to 125-7. Asif scored 27, Siraj 20 and Alam 16. Ateeq grabbed 2-12, Kamran 2-21 and Nazeer 2-28. Brasa De Brazil tied against Tata Motors. Brasa De Brazil piled up 156-7. Umair smashed 22, Bilal top-scored with 51 in 32 balls. Sajid remained unbeaten on 22. Faisal Lateef took 2-23 and Jafar 2-28.
Tata Motors, in reply, was stranded at 156-8 to tie the match. Akeel made 36, Yousuf 20, Amir 33 and Faisal 21. Farhan claimed 3-29, Tariq Butt 2-28, Arsah 1-4, Sajid 1-21 and Bilal 1-35. Universal Cool & Cool won against Star-XI by 62 runs. Universal Cool & Cool batted first to rack up a mammoth 218-4. Tariq Siddiqui blasted 132 in 62 balls with 20 fours. He stitched together 150 for the first wicket with Bilal (44). Star-XI replied with 156. Kaleem scored 56, Sarfaraz 25 and Nadeem 23. Sohel had 2-20 and Awais 2-31.
ALJ Toyota defeated Jeddah Tigers by 7 wickets. Jeddah Tigers were bundled out for 93 with only Abdullah making 18 and Hamza 15. Azeem grabbed 3-14, Tanveer Zamane 3-24 and M. Amir 2-21. ALJ Toyota reached 94-3 in 49 balls. Azeem hit 39 and Tanveer 16. Ali took 2-20.
Ralco had the better of Cousin-XI by 7 wickets. Cousin-XI posted 124-7 through Aqeel (24) and Khurram (38). Majid scalped 3-18. Ralco, in response, was home (127-3) in 77 balls. Sajid scored an unbeaten 44, Naeem 29 and Asif 18.
