Faisal, Fakhar and Luqman shine in SCC Twenty20

JEDDAH — Faisal Patel of Al-Mazroi and Fakhar of GBest IDB blasted tons, while Luqman Ulfat of Al-Kabbani took five wickets in SCC Morning Cup being organized by WPCA here.
Al-Kabbani Cricket Group defeated Hanifa Tigers by 9 wickets. Hanifa Tigers was bundled out for 92 with Kashif making 22 and Sohail 25 not out. The wrecker-in-chief was Luqman Ulfat, who scalped 5 for 9 in four overs. Al-Kabbani reached 95 for 1 in 51 balls. Imran smashed an unbeaten 71 (5 sixes and 8 fours) as he added 81 for the unbroken 2nd wicket with Luqman (9).
Arcoma beat Harsco Baroom by 56 runs. Arcoma piled up 162 for 5. Abid Pervez stroked 39 as he added 88 for the 3rd wicket with Ismael (54).
Nabeel was unbeaten on 20. Ahsan took 3 for 32 and Khadeem 2-23. Harsco Baroom, in reply, was stranded at 106 for 4. Hasanat Ahmed mustered 50 as he stitched together 65 with Shehroz (13). Imran Nasir remained unbeaten on 25. Nabeel took 2-23.
Zamil Cool Care beat Royal Brothers by 3 wickets. Royal Brothers posted 150 for 6 through Hamid Khan (34), Waqas (14), Abdullah (14) and Muneer (26). Sohail took 2-21 and Sagheem 2-36. Zamil Cool Care reached 151 for 7. Sagheem hit 43, Tahir 26, Sohail 16. Abdullah took 3 for 23 and Hamid Khan 2-24.
Sadafco crushed Rehab Riders by 77 runs. Sadafco blasted 222 for 2. Ali Jan Mugheri top scored with 86 (13 fours and 2 sixes) as he first added 104 for the 2nd wicket with Khurram (67) and then 86 for the unbroken 3rd wicket with Fahad (unbeaten 30). Rehab Riders could manage only 145 for 9. Tayab made 27, Kamran 13 and Atiq 14. Ehtesham took 3-22, Kashif 2-5 and Iqbal Patel 2-28.
GBest IDB edged Universal Cool & Cool by 17 runs. GBest piled up 187 for 6 thanks to Fakhar (100 with 13 fours and 2 sixes). He added 80 for the 4th wicket with Adeel (13). Shahed was unbeaten 19 and Sajjad added 13. Mehdi claimed 3-27 and Tariq Siddiqui 2-48. Universal Cool & Cool, in response, could muster only 170-4. Tariq Siddiqui smashed an unbeaten 80 and Shoaib 56 as the two added 114 for the opening stand. Centurion Fakhar grabbed 3-23.
Tata Motors downed Star-XI by 6 wickets. Star posted 146-8 through Omar Farooq (39), Umar Shaikh (39), Ali Akbar (24) and Sarfaraz (13). Tata Motors was home (149) for the loss of 4 wickets. Noor Butt remained unbeaten on 67, Hakeel added 31 and Hashmi 21.
QRCC had the last laugh against Cousin-XI by 30 runs. QRCC plundered 153-8 as Abdulrauf hammered 42, Usman 23, Saleem Shaikh 20 and Amir 18. Mujahid grabbed 4-28 and Aqeel 2-29. Cousin-XI, in reply, was stranded at 123 for 9 despite a fine 50 by Aqeel. Shoaib scalped 4-9 and Abdulrauf 2-28.
Al-Mazroi-XI humbled Ralco by 50 runs. Al-Mazroi plundered 184 for 4. Faisal Patel blasted an unbeaten 104 (3 sixes and 12 fours), while Mohsin hit 27. Tanvir grabbed 3 for 25. Ralco could score only 134-9. Naeem stroked 40, Shahid 19 and Arshad 15. Two wickets each were picked up by Aamir, Farhan, Sohail and Abdullah.
